Brooke Shields Makes Outfit-Repeating Look Good in Flirty Hot Pink Dress for Swarovski Sustainability Panel

When Brooke Shields loves an outfit, she loves an outfit and she’s not afraid to show it.
On April 23, the actress, entrepreneur and model spoke on a sustainability panel in celebration of Swarovski‘s new crystal pin made with the Swarovski Foundation and the United Nations. For the occasion, the Commence founder wore a look that of course boasted lots of bling — including a magenta choker with a gemstone — and a cutout sleeveless hot pink midi dress that she’s actually worn before.
Back in 2023, Shields, 59, rocked the same eye-catching look to the National Board of Review Awards Gala. At the time, she teamed the one-piece with matching pointed-toe heels, but switched things up with a pair of satiny magenta sandals for the Swarovski gathering at the jeweler’s New York City headquarters, which PEOPLE was in attendance for.
Speaking alongside Swarovski Foundation Director Jakhya Rahman-Corey, Shields shared how her look signaled a larger conversation around sustainable practices.
“There’s this belief that you can’t wear something again ’cause you were photographed in it,” she said. “I’m not gonna buy a new dress. This is my dress and it works.”
The Mother of the Bride star also believes that Hollywood can adopt the same mindset just by repurposing wardrobes on set. “It can be very wasteful.”

Swarovski’s new pin, inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals initiative, features the SDG color wheel and Swarovski ReCreated Crystals, the brand’s most sustainable crystals to date, mounted on a recycled metal base.
“All profits from the launch will go toward the Swarovski Foundation’s mission to promote sustainable livelihoods through education, to reduce inequality and drive progress towards the achievement of the SDGs,” reads a press release, and is available to shop at Swarovski Fifth Avenue store and the United Nations Bookshop at the UN Headquarters in N.Y.C.
