Chappell Roan, The Killers Join Special Guest Lineup for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Chappell Roan and The Killers are joining the special guest lineup for the upcoming Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the organization announced Tuesday.
Roan and The Killers join a previously announced crop of special guests including Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Elton John, Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Missy Elliott, Questlove, RAYE, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims and Twenty One Pilots.
The special guests are set to honor the inductees at the 40th Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, taking place on Nov. 8 at L.A.’s Peacock Theater. They will “take the stage to present, perform and honor this year’s Inductees,” according to a release from the organization, however, it’s unclear who will be performing or simply presenting.
The inductees at the 2025 ceremony include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden and The White Stripes. Hip hop group Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon are set to be inducted for musical influence. Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye are being inducted for musical excellence, and Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun award.
“Each year the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony brings together the most influential artists in music today to honor their heroes who have inspired their music and careers. These artists come from around the world to create lifetime musical moments that will live on forever,” Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation chairman John Sykes previously said in a statement.
Fans can buy tickets to the ceremony in L.A.; however, the show will also stream live on Disney+ at 5 p.m. PT and 8 p.m. ET. A primetime special version of the ceremony is set to air on New Year’s Day on ABC; it will hit Hulu the next day.
