Chris Rock Signs with WME

Comedian, writer and actor Chris Rock has signed with WME in all areas.
The multi-hyphenate, who was previously repped by CAA, broke out with his stand-up and work on Saturday Night Live. Rock has earned three Grammy Awards and four Emmy Awards for projects like stand-up specials Roll with the New and Bigger & Blacker and series like The Chris Rock Show.
Recent onscreen acting credits include a turn in the FX anthology series Fargo and the Netflix Bayard Rustin biopic Rustin.
As of late, Rock has been transitioning to more behind-the-camera work, including with the well-received feature Top Five, which he wrote, directed and starred in. Up next, he will direct and star in the Hollywood-set feature Misty Green, based on an original script by Rock. He is currently attached to direct the U.S. remake of Oscar-winning drama Another Round and a Martin Luther King Jr. biopic set up at Universal and produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin.
Elsewhere, Rock serves as the executive producer and narrator of Everybody Still Hates Chris, an animated reimagining of his family comedy series Everybody Hates Chris, currently on Paramount +.
WME will represent Rock across areas, including acting, directing, comedy touring and books. Rock continues to be represented by Untitled Entertainment, Yorn Levine, Vision PR and ML Management.
