Unveiling Coachella 2025: Exciting Lineup of Special Guest Performances Revealed

As is the yearly tradition, music lovers traveled from near and far this weekend to the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the desert of Indio, California, marking the unofficial kickoff to this year’s festival season.
Being one of the largest music festivals in the country, Coachella attracts viral performances each year, with artists often inviting special guests to enhance their sets. The 2025 edition is no different, and we’ll be compiling those performances here. So far, The Go-Go’s have brought out Billie Joe Armstrong, Benson Boone performed “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Queen’s Brian May on guitar, and Three 6 Mafia welcomed Project Pat, Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly, and Wiz Khalifa to their set.
Many more collaborations are anticipated throughout the weekend. Reports suggest that Troye Sivan will join his Sweat Tour co-headliner Charli XCX during her Saturday night performance, while Maren Morris is expected to appear with Zedd.
Headliners for this weekend include Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, Green Day, and Post Malone. The lineup also features Missy Elliott, Tyla, Lisa, GloRilla, Lola Young, Ed Sheeran, Weezer, T-Pain, Eli Brown, The Original Misfits, Jimmy Eat World, Rawayana, Clairo, Zedd, Megan Thee Stallion, Shaboozey, Jennie, Enhypen, Ty Dolla $ign, Muni Long, and beabadoobee, making it a packed two-weekend festival.
Below is a list of some of the weekend’s biggest surprise guests and a glimpse of what’s to come. Be sure to check back for more updates throughout the weekend, with another story brought to you by HiCelebNews.
Billie Joe Armstrong with The Go-Go’s
Billie Joe Armstrong joined The Go-Go’s during their Friday evening set at the Outdoor Theatre stage to perform “Head Over Heels.” Armstrong had teased a potential collaboration earlier that day, confirming his appearance with the legendary band just before their set began.
Project Pat, Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly, and Wiz Khalifa joined Three 6 Mafia’s Friday evening set. The hip-hop group had promised surprises, and Barker’s involvement had been hinted at prior to the performance.
Queen’s Brian May with Benson Boone
The “Beautiful Things” singer Benson Boone brought out legendary guitarist Brian May to perform Queen’s iconic song, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which included a tribute to the late Freddie Mercury.
“Gonna treasure this moment on the plane with Benson Boone – a truly golden 22-year-old prodigy,” May shared on his Instagram earlier that day. “I’m proud and happy to say we are now officially pals.”
Reports indicate that Troye Sivan is planning to join Charli XCX’s Saturday night Coachella set. This collaboration is not too surprising, as the two recently completed their co-headlining Sweat arena tour last year.
Maren Morris with Zedd
Maren Morris is expected to join Zedd’s Sunday night set, according to sources. The pair have previously collaborated on the hit song, “The Middle,” and they also performed together at Coachella back in 2019.
