CAA Dominates Coachella 2025 Lineup as Wasserman Secures the Most Acts: A Look at the Talent Agency Showdown

Coachella 2025 is set to kick off later this afternoon, marking the official start of this year’s concert festival season.

CAA has dominated this year’s headliners, as indicated by music industry directory Rostr’s annual Coachella breakdown, representing major acts like Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. Wasserman, however, leads the overall Coachella leaderboard, booking the most acts of all agencies with 32 performers listed on the lineup. (Rostr’s list does not include Coachella’s ancillary music events, such as the Do Lab).

CAA follows closely in second place with 28 acts, while UTA has secured 21 (though this number was originally 23 before Anitta and Gel had to cancel their performances). William Morris Endeavor also has 21 artists on the bill, bolstered by Weezer’s recent addition alongside Ed Sheeran from Wasserman.

In addition to the headliners, this year’s Coachella lineup features a stellar array of talent, including Travis Scott, Missy Elliot, The Misfits, Charli XCX, and Megan Thee Stallion, among others. As reported earlier this week, Weezer is still expected to perform on Saturday, just days after bassist Scott Shriner’s wife, Jillian Lauren, was injured during a police incident while authorities pursued suspects in a hit-and-run case.

Sheeran is set to take the stage for a Saturday afternoon set during the second weekend. The superstar is currently promoting his latest single “Azizam,” and his eighth album is also on the way. This year’s festival has experienced a somewhat chaotic start, with festival-goers expressing frustration over excessively long lines to enter the car camping area, with some reporting waits of up to 12 hours.
