Gordon Ramsay Returns with a Fresh Culinary Adventure on Fox

Fox and Gordon Ramsay are joining forces once again for another food-focused unscripted series, marking the seventh collaboration on the network’s lineup.

The new series, titled Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service, is set to premiere on May 21. This show puts a fresh twist on the Kitchen Nightmares format, where Ramsay steps in to help struggling restaurants by first going undercover instead of entering through the front door.

Fox describes the show as follows: “With the assistance of a secret source within the restaurant, Ramsay will gather raw, unfiltered evidence, obtaining a comprehensive view of the significant issues plaguing each establishment. This insider will remain unknown to the staff and will aid Ramsay in conducting a dramatic nighttime kitchen investigation under black light, uncovering more grime and unsanitary conditions than ever before. By the time Ramsay reveals his identity, it will be too late for the staff to hide their culinary missteps.”

“Throughout the years, I’ve taken on many bold adventures with my partners at Fox,” Ramsay stated. “Secret Service is the most daring of them all. With undercover assistance and advanced technology, I get to go full ‘MI6’ with these restaurants — and they’ll never see it coming.”

Secret Service is the latest entry in Fox’s Ramsay-verse, which currently includes six other shows: Food Stars, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef (renewed for a 15th season airing this summer), MasterChef Junior, and Next Level Chef. In 2024, Fox aired a Ramsay-led show for 47 out of 52 weeks and has continued this trend into 2025. The network is also collaborating with Ramsay’s Studio Ramsay Global to launch a digital culinary and entertainment brand called Bite.

Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service is produced by Studio Ramsay Global and Fox Alternative Entertainment, with Ramsay and showrunner Bill Langworthy serving as executive producers.
