Francesca Eastwood, Daughter of Hollywood Legend Clint Eastwood, Arrested on Domestic Abuse Charge

Actor and former reality TV star Francesca Eastwood was arrested in Beverly Hills over the weekend on suspicion of a domestic violence charge and has been released on bail, local law enforcement confirmed. 

The 31-year-old former star of the E! docuseries Mrs. Eastwood & Company, the daughter of legendary director and Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood and Titanic star Frances Fisher, was arrested just after 11 p.m. on Saturday and booked into a BHPD jail cell “based on statements and injuries;’” a $50,000 bond was set and she was scheduled to appear before a judge on Tuesday morning. 

According to a public information officer with the Beverly Hills Police Department, Eastwood left jail on Sunday.

Beverly Hills police told The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday that officers had responded to a call that came in at their North Rexford Drive headquarters regarding the possible domestic violence incident at a safety zone. TMZ reports that Eastwood was a passenger as her boyfriend was behind the wheel when the two were driving around Beverly Hills and got into a verbal fight that escalated when she allegedly got physical. After calling the police, her boyfriend was told he should drive to the safety zone at BHPD’s headquarters.

Eastwood, who resides in Los Angeles, was ultimately arrested on PC 273.5 – Domestic Violence, which is a felony charge, Beverly Hills Police Department Lieutenant Andrew Myers said by phone on Tuesday morning. Other than Eastwood’s Sunday exit from the jailhouse, the department shared no further details.

Court records show Eastwood pleaded no contest to a DUI charge in 2015 and that case was ultimately dismissed. 

Eastwood appeared alongside her stepmother, Dina Eastwood, and sister, Morgan Eastwood, in the 2012 E! series that followed DIna, then the Oscar-winning filmmaker’s wife, and the girls as they lived in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California with Overtone, an a capella group being managed by the matriarch. The show ended after one season when the Eastwood family decided not to carry on with production, as Morgan announced in a Tumblr post. 

Eastwood has since appeared in films like M. Night Shyamalan’s 2021 thriller, Old and TV series Twin Peaks reboot and FX’s Fargo

Calls placed to a rep for Eastwood by THR were not immediately returned on Tuesday.
