Golden Globes and CBS Set Date for Nikki Glaser-Hosted 2026 Ceremony

The next Golden Globe Awards will take place on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, the Golden Globes organization and its broadcasting partner CBS announced on Thursday.
Following a 2025 telecast that received rave reviews, comedian Nikki Glaser will return to emcee the first major televised award show of the season. With her first rodeo, she was the first female solo host of a Globes telecast and received rave reviews.
“Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career,” Glaser said in a statement when she announced she was returning in 2026. “I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from The White Lotus, who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in season four as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.”
The ceremony — which honors the best in film and television, and has become known as “Hollywood’s Party of the Year” — will air live on the “Tiffany Network” from 5-8 p.m. PT. Planned and produced by Dick Clark Productions, the show will be broadcast in more than 185 countries and territories worldwide.
Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers will have access to stream the ceremony live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream the show live but will have access to the special on demand the day after it airs.
Thursday’s announcement also revealed that this season’s Golden Globes nominations will be unveiled on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025. Additional Globes-related dates will be announced soon.
Golden Globes producer Dick Clark Productions is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge that also owns The Hollywood Reporter.
