Gwyneth Paltrow Whips Up One of Her ‘#BoyfriendBreakfasts’ for Husband Brad Falchuk: ‘Burrito at Dawn’

Gwyneth Paltrow is cooking up a tasty breakfast for Brad Falchuk!

On Monday, Dec. 16, the Oscar winner, 52, posted a video on Instagram of herself making one of her viral “boyfriend breakfasts” for her husband Falchuk, 53.

“#boyfriendbreakfast burrito at dawn,” Paltrow captioned the clip, which played along to Tabitha Meeks and Ryan Corn’s 2023 song “Ready For Christmas.”

Falchuck was first snapped looking at a laptop while sitting at their dining table. Paltrow then shared a shot of her ingredients for the breakfast dish laid out on a table consisting of a pack of Mexican Chorizo, three eggs, organic tortillas, an onion, a green pepper, a lemon and an avocado.

The following clip featured the chorizo sizzling in a pan on the stove in the kitchen. The camera then panned upwards to show a fire roaring in the fireplace right next to the stove.

Paltrow was next filmed with her back to the camera assembling the cooked eggs, chorizo and vegetables from the pan onto a tortilla laid flat on a chopping board on an island in the kitchen. A final shot revealed the neatly wrapped breakfast burrito cut into two halves and piled onto a plate ready for serving.

Paltrow and Falchuck tied the knot on Sept. 29, 2018. The actress was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she shares two children: daughter Apple, 20, and son Moses Martin, 18.

Paltrow previously shared on her lifestyle website Goop that her tradition of making “boyfriend breakfasts” for Falchuk developed “when we were dating.”

“Sometimes neither of us had our kids on Saturday mornings, so it became a thing, and both of us still relish the energy it brings to our relationship,” Paltrow said. She added that she “really enjoy[s] the act of cooking … specifically for him.”

On Nov. 23, Paltrow posted another video of her “#boyfriendbreakfast” for her husband of “pepper and garden greens with three baked eggs” on Instagram.

The actress said she finds cooking for her husband “not anti-feminist” — despite the criticism she’s had in speaking openly about her love for doing so.

“It’s an act of service that’s about seeing the other person and understanding their needs,” she said, per the Goop website. “… Cooking is also, for me — and I think many type A people — relaxing and grounding.”
