Harley Quinn Star Kaley Cuoco Shares Where Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Would Go for a Bae-cation (Exclusive)

Kaley Cuoco knows how to keep the spark going for Gotham’s most notorious duo. 

The Harley Quinn star, 39, has voiced the title character Harley Quinn in Max’s DC Comic series for five seasons. So when asked where the beloved anti-hero and her equally formidable partner, Poison Ivy, would go for a getaway, the Priceline spokesperson had a couple of ideas.

The Harley Quinn animated series, which has gained a cult following, reimagines Gotham’s most infamous pair as they navigate their chaotic, crime-fueled lives while also being shockingly relatable. “That’s what I love about their relationship,” Cuoco shared with PEOPLE. “They’re movies-in-bed girls. It’s so funny. They’re so real to me.”

In Cuoco’s newest ad campaign with Priceline, The Flight Attendant alum encourages travelers to plan their perfect getaway with the travel booking site. (Starting March 25 through April 6, Priceline is offering “Buzzer Beater” deals for men’s and women’s basketball fans to save big on hotels in the tournament’s host cities for a limited time before each round.)

So where would Harley and Ivy jet off to for some much-needed R&R? According to Cuoco, their perfect vacation spot would have to meet a few key requirements. “They love the hotel room. They don’t like leaving the hotel room, so we’d need a really nice hotel,” she explained. “Then Ivy could go to some garden and look at all the plants and be all earthy, and Harley can go do her wild thing, and then they can reconnect.”

As for the ideal setting, Cuoco imagines something lush and serene but still full of excitement. “I think they’d go somewhere tropical, but somewhere that had a really good bed,” she laughed. “That makes perfect sense.” 

Cuoco admitted that voicing Harley has been one of her greatest joys. “It’s been so fun. That’s actually been my therapy,” she said. “I go to record Harley and scream for two hours and cuss and act like a lunatic, and then I’m like, ‘Now I can go home.’” 

The character has become such a fan favorite that Cuoco says more people approach her about Harley than some of her other roles, adding, “People really love it.”

With a sixth season on the way, fans can expect even more of Harley and Ivy’s dynamic adventures. But when they do finally take that much-needed vacation, it’s safe to say it will be equal parts romantic, chaotic, and completely unforgettable — just like them.
