Saturday Night Live‘s 2025 Christmas episode is a biggie: Ariana Grande will host, Cher will perform and Bowen Yang will have his final evening as an SNL castmember, following his Dec. 19 departure announcement.
This year’s Christmas episode falls on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 8:30 p.m. PT/11:30 pm ET, and since it’s broadcast on NBC, cord-cutters can stream it live on any live TV streaming service that carries the network, including DirecTV (with a five-day free trial), Fubo (with a seven-day free trial), Sling and Hulu + Live TV.

The Dec. 20 episode is SNL‘s second TV event of the week. It comes on the heels of SNL‘s annual holiday special, A Saturday Night Live Christmas, a compilation of the show’s most iconic Christmas sketches since 1975. That two-hour special first aired on Dec. 18, and is currently available to stream on Peacock.
