Jake Gyllenhaal Says “I’ve Always Felt Close to Bulgari” as He Joins House as Global Ambassador

Jake Gyllenhaal has joined the Bulgari family.

The veteran actor has been named global brand ambassador for the luxury fashion house. Authenticity has a lot to do with it as both Gyllenhaal and Bulgari’s CEO referenced the quality in their respective statements about one another.

“I’ve always felt close to Bulgari for the way it blends beauty with meaning, creativity with emotion,” Gyllenhaal said in a statement. “There is a generosity in the maison’s approach — toward craftsmanship, culture and human stories — that resonates with my values. Authenticity, to me, comes from the relationships we build and the care we bring to what we create, staying true to what really matters and to who we are.”

Added Bulgari CEO Laura Burdese: “Jake represents a contemporary form of excellence rooted in integrity, empathy and authenticity. His artistic sensitivity and his ability to create sincere connections with people reflect the very essence of our maison. He brings depth, humanity and purpose to everything he does.”

News of Gyllenhaal’s new gig comes days after it was announced that Dua Lipa had joined Bulgari as global brand ambassador. The superstar singer and Gyllenhaal join fellow house ambassadors like Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Zendaya, Damiano David, Liu Yifei, Kim Ji-won and Blackpink superstar Lisa. Friends of the house include Linda Evangelista, Oscar Isaac, Isabella Rossellini and more.

Both Gyllenhaal and Bulgari shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, the former with his 8.9 million followers. He’s been regularly posting clips and promotion of his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal’s new film, The Bride!, which hits theaters this weekend starring Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale. In it, the actor plays a dancing Ronnie Reed.
