Jessica Alba Goes on Hawaiian Vacation with Her 3 Kids amid Divorce from Cash Warren

Jessica Alba is soaking in the sun with her little ones.
The Honest Renovations star, 43, went on vacation to Kauai, Hawaii, with two friends and her three kids. She shared the picturesque views from her trip in a Friday, April 4 post on Instagram. Alba shares her children, Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7, with her ex-husband, Cash Warren, 46.
The 19-slide carousel captures features beach-set snaps of the family on the beach, as well as photos of Alba with friends. “Perfect beach day, ladies,” Alba says in one of the videos as she pans to her two pals.
The carousel also includes a couple of quotes. “Mood: I just wanna sit in front of the ocean and listen to the waves,” one reads, and the other, from poet Yung Pueblo, says, “April energy: Remember that life is a miracle so don’t take small joys for granted.”
Other images include the foods they enjoyed, a rainbow with the ocean and mountains as a backdrop, as well as a snap of the full moon. Additional posts from the trip show the family and friends taking in waterfalls, swimming with dolphins, going on a cave tour and golfing.
The vacation comes amid Alba’s separation from Warren after officially filing for divorce on Feb. 7. As reported by PEOPLE, the Los Angeles County court filing confirmed she filed for joint custody of the children. The Trigger Warning star also requested for her legal name to be changed back to Jessica Marie Alba.
In early January, a source told PEOPLE, “No matter what’s going on right now, it seems they will remain close. If they’re filing for divorce, it’s not because of some hateful drama.” That same month, another source revealed to PEOPLE that Alba had retained a divorce lawyer.
The former couple, who co-own The Honest Company, were married for 16 years. Following the news of their separation, Alba opened up on Instagram to confirm the split in January.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” the mother of three wrote at the time. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
The Honest Company co-founder continued, “We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
