Luke recruits his sister, Charlotte, played by Natalie Portman, in the latest official trailer for Guy Ritchie’s action adventure thriller for Apple TV+ to help reveal the mystical spring behind the legendary Fountain of Youth by using clues hid in paintings by six master artists in the 1600s.
“I want dad to get his recognition,” Luke tells Charlotte at one point in the trailer to reveal why they should find the real-life Fountain of Youth to evade aging and find the immortality that their father long pursued. Of course, powerful forces, including the Catholic Church, stand in Luke and Charlotte’s way as they chase the the path to immortality.
The film also stars Eiza González and Domhnall Gleeson as they seek adventure that spans multiple cultures, continents and centuries. Additional castmembers include Arian Moayed, Laz Alonso, Carmen Ejogo and Stanley Tucci.
Skydance Media produced the film for Apple in a first-look deal alongside Vinson Films and Project X Entertainment. Fountain of Youth will debut via Apple TV+ on May 23.
