Kanye West Raps About Split With Wife Bianca Censori on His New Album, ‘WW3’

A track on Kanye West’s new album indicates the controversial rapper split with his wife, Bianca Censori, following a string of recent public outbursts from the troubled rapper.
The track, “BIANCA,” from his album, WW3, which was released on Thursday, contains lyrics from West that are raw and honest about what’s happening with his marriage, if taken at face value. West and Censori met while she was on staff at his fashion and lifestyle brand, Yeezy, and married in 2022.
On the new track, West pleads for Censori to return to him and mentions his tweets as a cause of the split, says he’s tracking her and compares their relationship to that of Sean “Diddy” Combs and his ex, Cassie Ventura — whose legal case against the mogul led to a flood of legal action against him.
“My baby she ran away /but first she tried to get me committed / Not going to the hospital ’cause I am not sick I just do not get it,” West raps on the track. “She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way that I tweeted / Until Bianca’s back I stay up all night I’m not going to sleep / I really don’t know where she’s at.”
At one point, West raps about Censori’s parents: “They want me to go on retreat / They want me to run and meet.” Later, he drops the Diddy-Cassie reference: “I guess we the new Cassie and Diddy.”
West has been prone to tweeting controversial messages about several topics. This cost him and his Yeezy brand a lucrative contract with Adidas when an antisemitic tirade was deemed over the line by the sportswear brand. West’s antisemitic streak returned on X after the Grammys in February, stirring fresh controversy following a red carpet moment in which Censori, while standing with West, dropped a coat to reveal a nearly entirely nude look.
The Hollywood Reporter reached out to a rep for the couple to confirm the split on Thursday morning but did not immediately hear back.
If the song is to be believed, his posts on X.com may have played a role in the end to the rapper’s marriage. In a cryptic tweet from two weeks ago, which has now been deleted, West suggested that trouble may have been brewing in his marriage.
“When you look at that betrayal list [sic] I realized I was just a part of peoples [sic] strategies,” he tweeted. “I took the word love to mean love when it really meant I love the opportunity.”
“I make decisions from my heart and mind. So when my heart is broken it breaks my mind too,” he continued on X. “That’s why I drank Henny to go to the awards that night. Just too many slaps in in [sic] the face.”
Rumors swirled that the couple had split shortly after the Grammys red carpet moment and when West began selling swastika t-shirts on his fashion brand’s website. A rep for the couple confirmed to THR at the time that those reports were unfounded and that the couple was looking forward to spending Valentine’s Day together.
West recently grabbed headlines in a March 18 post on X by questioning the intelligence of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s twins. However, the following day, he walked this back, writing on X, “I LOVE JAY Z AND I DO FEEL BAD.”
A tracklist for WW3 that appeared on X on Wednesday hinted that his wife isn’t the only subject covered over its 11 tracks. Song titles include “Jared” and “Cosby,” possible references to First Daughter Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner, and to the disgraced comedian and sitcom star Bill Cosby. Another track is titled “Virgil Let Me Down,” a likely reference to the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, who met West when they interned at Fendi in 2009 and worked with him afterward at his Donda creative agency.
