Exciting Hints of a Stabler-Benson Reunion in ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’

The trailer for season five of *Law & Order: Organized Crime* features Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) recovering in the hospital after a car accident. A new teaser reveals one of his visitors during this time: Olivia Benson.
Peacock released a 30-second teaser showcasing familiar scenes from the trailer, culminating in a moment where Benson (Mariska Hargitay) calls out, “Elliot,” before appearing at his bedside.
Hargitay’s appearance marks her 14th crossover from *Law & Order: SVU* and will occur in the second episode of season five, set to stream on April 17 on Peacock. NBC will also air the season premiere that same night. Notably, Meloni has written this episode, marking his debut as a writer.
Peacock has shared several photos from Hargitay’s guest appearance, including one featured at the top of this article, along with another image where she is seen with Stabler’s organized crime task force leader, Sgt. Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt), and his brother Randall (Dean Norris).
Season five of *Organized Crime*, the first season as a Peacock original, follows Stabler as he goes undercover to investigate a cross-border smuggling operation. The season will also explore themes of high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family seeking revenge against Stabler for past actions in Rome.
The series also stars Rick Gonzalez and Ainsley Seiger, with Nicky Torchia and Ellen Burstyn returning as Stabler’s son Eli and mother Bernadette. *Organized Crime* is produced by Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment, with executive producers including Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead (episodes 507-510), John Shiban, Mike Slovis, Meloni, Peter Jankowski, and Tim Walsh (episode 510).
