Lily Allen Announces ‘West End Girl’ North America Tour

Lily Allen is taking West End Girl on the road.
The English singer-songwriter announced a tour for next Spring on Friday, as Allen is slated to play nine shows across North America next April. She’ll play the album in its entirety, according to a press release for the tour, starting in Chicago April 3 with dates in New York April 14 and Los Angeles April 25 before wrapping in San Francisco April 28. Pre-sale sign-up begins today, and the general on-sale will take place next week on December 12.
A complete list of tour dates and ticketing information is available on Allen’s website.
Allen’s West End Girl came as a surprise with its release in late October, but her breakup album chronicling her separation from David Harbour quickly garnered significant buzz and critical acclaim. As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, West End Girl’s Spotify streams doubled the week after the album released, and it’s drawn new listeners to the rest of Allen’s catalog as well.
“It’s viscerally like going through the motions,” Allen previously told Interview magazine of her latest album back in October. “At the time, I was really trying to process things and that’s great in terms of the album, but I don’t feel confused or angry now. I don’t need revenge.”
After the North America shows, she’ll play over a dozen more shows across the U.K. and Ireland from May through July.
Aside from the shows, Allen will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live next week on December 13.
