Married at First Sight UK: Meet the couples who are still together

Married at First Sight has returned for another dramatic series and we’ve been loving seeing thehopeful singletons meet their future spouse for the very first time at the altar.

While we’ve been caught up in the romance, and fights, of the long-running show, we can’t help but wonder if any couples from previous seasons are still together. Spoiler alert – not many. Here are the pairings who have had success from the show…

Paul and Tasha

Although the couple had plenty of ups and downs during their time on Married at First Sight, they ultimately committed to one another and are still going strong. Back in July, Paul marked Tasha’s birthday, sweetly writing: “Happy birthday to my beautiful one & only @itstashajay who always makes me smile.”

Back in May, the couple revealed to Grazia that they were planning on moving in together, with Tasha telling the publication: “Paul’s gonna move up north, he’s gonna be a northerner.” Paul then joked: “I’m used to moving about in life so I’m looking forward to it. But up north, that’s the first time for me. I don’t know how I feel about it – the accents!”

Matt and Shona

Even though they weren’t paired together on the popular show, Matt and Shona started a connection after meeting at the reunion for the cast of season 8. In September, the pair decided to move in together, with Shona sharing: “Packed up Matty’s flat in Harrogate and moved into my house in Nottingham. Excited for our new chapter! X.”

Tayah and Adam

Tayah and Adam have been together ever since they both took part in Married at First Sight UK in 2021 and it seems their love has only got stronger.

The happy couple might have got hitched on the show, but it wasn’t legal therefore Adam got down on one knee and popped the question to Tayah officially. Their wedding was put on hold after Tayah fell pregnant with their first child, but the pair finally enjoyed their nuptials in December 2023. 

The lovebirds welcomed their bundle of joy in October 2022 and announced the joyous news on Instagram. Tayah wrote: “7th October, the day our lives completely changed. Introducing you all to our precious girl, Beau Emily Aveling, we are completely besotted, she is perfect in every single way. To my Adam, I didn’t think I could love you even more but seeing you with our daughter completely fills my heart. 

She continued: “Just want to say a massive thank you to Doncaster Hospital, for going above and beyond to reassure me and to the amazing lady who stayed after her shift had finished to deliver our girl. Welcome to the world our darling Beau.”

Zoe and Jenna

Zoe and Jenna met during the 2022 season of the show and instantly became fan favourites with viewers. The couple are still going strong over a year later and often keep their Instagram followers up to date with what they’ve been getting up to since leaving the experiment.

Back in June, Jenna revealed that Zoe had now proposed to her, sharing: “A week ago the absolute love of my life asked me to marry her, from me being a little slow on the uptake, thinking Zoe had just gone a little overboard for date night to Bobo setting himself on fire, it was perfect and chaotic and just very ‘us’.

“Not to be cliché but I genuinely didn’t think that this type of love actually existed, to have someone who loves you, cares and respects you as much as you do them, is the most incredible feeling.. and now I get to marry my best friend instead of a stranger! I guess we have a particular TV show to thank for setting us up on the wildest 1st date ever.. so thank you @e4mafsuk @e4gramsI adore you @zoeclifton.. We are going to make the cutest little old married lesbian couple ever!!!”

Owen and Michelle

Owen and Michelle were matched by the experts during the show’s fifth season in 2020 and are still as loved up as ever. The couple, who are based in Sheffield, even share a joint Instagram account which keeps fans updated on their life together.

Since leaving the show, Owen and Michelle have walked down the aisle with each other, and they welcomed their first child, Jess. Announcing their baby’s arrival, the couple shared: “The best Christmas gift in the world so overwhelmed with messages and kindness from everyone, thank you all so much.”
