Meet the Real-Life Loves of The Gilded Age Season 3 Cast (Including the Star Who Secretly Married Her Husband)

Coon, who plays Bertha Russell on The Gilded Age, married Letts in 2013, about three years after they were cast in a revival of the 1962 play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.

The actress described her marriage to The Guardian as “healthy” and “happy” in 2021.

“When I was younger, let’s say I didn’t always conduct myself with integrity in my relationships,” she told the outlet. “Now I’ve found a partner who I can be truly honest with, I never want to go back.”

The couple welcomed two children in 2018 and 2021.

Spector, who portrays George Russell, married Hall in 2015 after they costarred in the Broadway production Machinal together.

The Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire star told PEOPLE in 2024 that she and Spector live a much quieter life than the dramas they create on-screen.

“We live in the countryside away from everything, a very rural situation,” Hall said. “We’re actually pretty quiet people. But, I think that as a result, when we go out … we both enjoy that and we do it and we have fun with it.”

The couple shares one child, who was born in 2018.

Taissa Farmiga, who plays Gladys Russell in the series, married filmmaker Hadley Klein in a secret wedding in 2020.

The couple collaborated in 2024 in the Hulu romance film She Taught Love, which Farmiga starred and Klein produced.

“SHE TAUGHT LOVE is a beautiful project made by beautiful people who are close to my heart,” The Nun actress captioned an Instagram post featuring behind-the-scenes shots from filming.

She added it was “a joy” to work alongside her husband, whom she called “the best.”

Richardson, who portrays Larry Russell, hasn’t confirmed his real-life relationship status.

However, the actor has opened up about why he thinks his slow-burn romance with Marian Brook (Jacobson) has been such a fan-favorite on The Gilded Age.

“What’s special about their relationship is they have the opportunity to grow as friends first,” Richardson said during a press conference in 2025, per Actors With Issues. “They start with a foundation of friendship before contemplating romance.”

Denée Benton, who plays secretary Peggy Scott in The Gilded Age, married Manifest star Carl Lundstedt in 2020.

The couple first met at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where they studied acting and dated for over five years before Carl surprised her with an unexpected proposal. 

“The joke’s on me because my one requirement for our proposal was that he surprise me — even though I’m a controlling Capricorn and don’t really love surprises,” Benton told Vogue in 2020.

She continued, “He succeeded, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so happy we’re married, because spontaneity comes so naturally to him that our balance makes it beautiful.”

Dylan Baker, who plays Dr. Logan in season 3, is married to actress Becky Ann Baker.

Like her husband, Becky Ann has a long career in Hollywood and has played iconic moms on shows like Freaks and Geeks and Girls.

She told Yahoo Entertainment in 2017 that learning how to prioritize each other was key to balancing their relationship with their busy lives.

“In this business, there’s a lot of times where you do find yourselves on separate coasts, but I think we’ve just always prioritized [each other],” Becky Ann said. “When I could, I would travel with Dylan, and when he could, he would travel with me … So we try to manage as best we can to stay together as a family, and we’ve done pretty darn well.”

The couple shares one daughter and have played husband and wife on-screen in series like Life as We Know It and Smash.

Kate Baldwin, who portrays Nancy Adams Bell in season 3, married actor Graham Rowat in 2005 after they met during a production of the musical 1776, per The Berkshire Eagle.

The pair have shared the stage a few times for shows like Constellations and Dressed Up Again. They also have one son. 

“My husband and I are both balancing in equal parts,” Baldwin told The Interval in 2014. “We’re both actors and we both take care of our little boy. He really is my equal partner in every way … I do half and he does half. We really share.”
