Oasis to Release Film on Upcoming Reunion Tour

Oasis is set to release an accompanying film for their highly anticipated upcoming reunion tour, Sony Music announced Thursday.

Peaky Blinders director Steven Knight is producing the film, Sony said, and it will be directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. The duo previously directed Meet Me in the Bathroom, the documentary on the 2000s rock scene in New York, as well as Shut Up and Play the Hits, a documentary film about LCD Soundsystem.

A release date hasn’t been set yet, Sony said. Sony Music Vision will distribute the movie. The film is being produced by Magna Studios, which has also produced Beastie Boys Story and Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now.

Liam and Noel Gallagher have had a notoriously fraught relationship for years, making Oasis’ tour one of the most hotly anticipated concert tours of 2025, as the band will play their first shows since they broke up in 2009 just before a concert in Paris. “This is it, this is happening,” the band posted on X (formerly Twitter) last August announcing their comeback.

Oasis is kicking off the tour in Wales this July before playing dates across England, Scotland and Ireland. They’ll start the North American leg in Toronto and play U.S. dates at Soldier Field in Chicago, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, before two dates in Mexico City. They’ll wrap the tour with two more England dates before shows in South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

Tickets for the shows are hard to come by as the band is using a face-value ticket exchange to prevent scalpers from gouging fans on the secondary market. The band has told fans to only purchase through Ticketmaster or through their official resale partners, warning that tickets bought anywhere else will be canceled.
