Reba McEntire, Post Malone, Lauryn Hill and More Pay Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, D’Angelo at Grammys

Reba McEntire, Lauryn Hill and Post Malone honored Roberta Flack, Ozzy Osbourne, D’Angelo and more artists who died over the last year during the 2026 Grammys‘ In Memoriam segment on Sunday.
Post Malone was joined by Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith and Andrew Watt in an all-star tribute to Osbourne, who died of a heart attack in July 2025 at the age of 76. The group performed one of Osbourne’s most notable songs, “War Pigs,” which he released with Black Sabbath in 1970.
Hill performed in honor of Flack, who died of cardiac arrest in February 2025 at the age of 88, and D’Angelo, who passed away in October 2025 at the age of 51 after suffering from pancreatic cancer.
The Fugees star performed a medley of D’Angelo’s hits, including “Brown Sugar,” “Lady” and “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” alongside Lucky Daye, Raphael Saadiq, Anthony Hamilton, and 2026 Grammy winners Jon Batiste and Leon Thomas.
Hill previously collaborated with D’Angelo on the 1998 hit “Nothing Even Matters,” which she performed solo during the tribute.
During the Flack tribute, Hill was joined by Fugees bandmate Wyclef Jean to perform Flack’s 1973 track “Killing Me Softly with His Song,” and the band’s hit 1996 cover of the song. Batiste, John Legend, Chaka Khan, Leon Bridge, Alexia Jayy, Lalah Hathaway and October London also joined the Fugees frontwoman for a performance of Flack’s hits, including “Closer I Get To You” and “Where Is The Love.”
Elsewhere during the tribute, McEntire was joined by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson for a performance of “Trailblazer,” which was dedicated to Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Brian Wilson, Ace Frehley and other creatives in the music industry who died in 2025.
The 2026 Grammys, hosted by Trevor Noah for the sixth and final time, were held Sunday, Feb. 1, at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The award show was produced by Fulwell 73 Productions for the Recording Academy with Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins and Noah as executive producers.
