Rosé Gets “Messy” in Latest ‘F1’ Soundtrack Single and Music Video

Rosé got “Messy” in the new music video for the latest single as part of F1: The Album.
Last week, Atlantic Records announced the companion album to Brad Pitt and Damson Idris’ new F1 film, along with confirming which artists were involved with the project. Alongside Rosé, Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, Raye, Burna Boy, Roddy Ricch, Dom Dolla, Chris Stapleton, Tiësto, Sexyy Red, Myke Towers, Madison Beer and Peggy Gou will be featured in the star-studded, 17-song soundtrack.
The music video for “Messy” features never-before-seen footage from the forthcoming racing film with a romantic Las Vegas twist. “Baby, I’m obsessed with you and there’s no replica / Maybe if it’s messy, if it’s messy, if it’s messy / Then you know it’s really love,” the Blackpink member sings in the track.
Last weekend, Rosé celebrated the movie’s summer release at the Miami Grand Prix, where Kerry Condon, Jerry Bruckheimer, Tiësto, Dom Dolla, Don Toliver, Sexyy Red, Roddy Ricch, Myke Towers, and Burna Boy were also in attendance.
F1: The Album’s first single, “Lose My Mind” from Toilver and Doja Cat, released on May 1, alongside an adorning music video. The film and record will celebrate a joint release on June 27. The record hails from the same team that worked on the Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe-winning Barbie: The Album.
F1 spotlights Pitt and Idris as a former Formula One driver and rookie driver, respectively. Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski helmed the film while Pitt, Kosinski, Jerry Bruckheimer, Lewis Hamilton, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Chad Oman serve as producers.
