Sabrina Carpenter Finds a Unique Soulmate in Her Super Bowl Pringles Ad’s Extended Cut (Exclusive)

Sabrina Carpenter‘s Super Bowl commercial debut reminds viewers that men can have a salty personality.
The performer stars in a Pringles ad that is set to air during the Big Game on Sunday and shows her discovering the secret to finding a soulmate. The 30-second version airs during NBC‘s Super Bowl LX telecast, while the extended version — during which Carpenter and her beau wind up in the bedroom — can be seen below and is exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter.
Marking Pringles’ ninth consecutive Super Bowl spot, the commercial will air during the third quarter of the NFL‘s match-up between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, not long after the halftime show featuring Bad Bunny. The ad was developed by BBDO New York and shows Carpenter taking inspiration from the man on the Pringles can to build her perfect spouse, Pringleleo.
“Filming with a man made of Pringles was definitely a first for me,” the star tells THR. “I trust directors Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia — we shot the ‘Manchild’ video together. They are so creative, and the partnership with them and the Pringles brand team allowed us to bring this to life in a way that felt so unhinged and hilarious in the best way.”
The “Espresso” singer adds, “It was important to me when making a commercial like this that the concept felt authentic to me and my brand. I wanted to be able to incorporate my sense of humor and also create a commercial that felt a bit more nontraditional for a major snack brand.”
When asked whether having a Super Bowl commercial makes her consider the prospect of possibly performing the halftime show at some point and what that might look like for her, Carpenter responds, “Maybe one day! I gotta write a few more albums first.”
Mars Snacking senior vp Sarah Reinecke says in a statement, “Our iconic snack has been popping off in the Big Game for nearly a decade. This year, we’re bringing Pringles to life, almost literally, as Sabrina builds her beloved Pringleleo, and we’re honored to show the world their unexpected love story. We hope snackers pop open their favorite flavor alongside Sabrina and experience their own love at first bite.”
Adds BBDO New York chief creative officer Michael Aimette, “When you’re playing in a world as iconic and familiar as ‘Once You Pop,’ the fun is seeing how far you can take it. This spot taps into what makes Pringles unmistakably Pringles — Mr. P, the joy of stacking crisps — and then lets Sabrina Carpenter take it somewhere only she could. She immediately got the joke and elevated it, making a love story built out of crisps feel pretty natural, all things considered.”
Carpenter earned six nominations ahead of the 2026 Grammy Awards after releasing album Man’s Best Friend in August.
