Scarlett Johansson couldn’t keep a straight face during one Saturday Night Live sketch!

While hosting the show’s 50th season finale episode on May 17, the actress, 40, appeared in the messy-eating “Victorian Girl Lunch” skit alongside Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner and Sarah Sherman as a group of British ladies dining together.

Johansson broke character as she asked Andrew Dismukes, who played the waiter, “What types of bird will we be eating today?” She then giggled as she chewed on a suspicious-looking piece of food and showcased black goo all over her teeth.

Dismukes, 29, replied, “Oh, the most upsetting ones, my lady. Eagles, hummingbirds, penguins and I believe we still have a few baby puffins.”

“— Well, not any more you don’t,” Johansson said before saying in a singsong voice, “Yummy, yummy in my tummy!’

Fineman, 36, also struggled to stay in character, as she grimaced over their meal. She took a sip of her drink and quickly spat it out, to the audience’s amused reaction. She then asked, “And … the BLT, uh, what’s in that again?”

“Bunnies and little turtles,” responded Dismukes.

Johnasson pretended to continue eating as she said through laughter, “And the turkey club, what was it clubbed with?”

Dismukes replied, “Why the bible, of course,” as Johnasson continued to giggle in her seat while looking at the camera.

Gardner, 41, then asked, “And what was that special on the menu? Panda Express?” Dismukes replied, “Ah yes it’s a panda that we pushed in front of a train.”

“Oh! That’s how I want to go!” Sherman, 32, responded with a fake hearty laugh.

Johansson hosted the finale of SNL’‘s milestone 50th season for a record-breaking seventh time on Saturday, making her the first female star to do so. She was joined on the show by musical guest Bad Bunny.

For her opening monologue on the late-night comedy series, the actress performed a parody of Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” as she was joined by cast members Bowen Yang, Sherman, Fineman and Mikey Day. Johansson also appeared in several sketches during the episode, including one where she played a local news anchor and another playing a moderator interviewing the cast of a TV show.

The Jurassic World Rebirth star also appeared alongside her husband, Colin Jost, in the “Weekend Update” sketch as she got payback on Michael Che after the comedian made Jost, 42, read a joke about her on the show’s winter finale in 2024.
