Scott Disick Says He’s Grateful for His ‘Unbelievable Children’ as He Celebrates His 42nd Birthday

Scott Disick is sharing what he’s thankful for on his birthday.

The reality TV star, 42, shared a series of photos on his Instagram as he celebrated his 42nd birthday, which included a snap of a silver balloon arch in his living room. “Happy Birthday Scott,” the balloons read, which were pictured just behind Disick’s son Reign, 10, who lounged on a white couch.

“Another bday and another day 2 be greatfull [sic] 4 my unbelievable children,” Disick wrote across the photo.

A second shot showed Reign standing outside by a large vehicle, posing as the sun went down. “Raybo,” Disick wrote next to his son.

Disick shares his three kids — Penelope, 12, Mason, 15, and Reign – with ex Kourtney Kardashian Barker.

On an episode of Khloé Kardashian’s podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, Disick and Kardashian spoke about how they’re prioritizing their respective kids instead of trying to date.

“How are you with dating around the kids?” Kardashian asked. “Like that’s separate. Or is it? Do you discuss that with them? Do they ask? Because they’re older, I imagine they’re asking.” 

“Yeah, they ask me…they’d like me to be with somebody, I think. And they do voice to me that they’d like me to be with someone,” Disick responded. “And I kinda say until I find the right person, I don’t really want to bring another person around unless it’s like the end-all be-all person.”

“Just cause I don’t want them to get attached to somebody else, but I have to do my thing too, or I’ll never meet anyone,” he went on to explain. “But they’re all starting to get older and it’s not that much longer until they’re of age, all of them.”

“So for the next 5,6,7, years, if my attention is on them, I have the rest of my life to be a single guy. Right now, I like that my focus is on them. And if I was with somebody else, yeah, I’d still be a good dad, but I would have somebody that I’d be putting on a pedestal near them.” 

Kardashian agreed, saying that if she wasn’t also a single mom, she feels like she’d say Disick is being crazy. But because she’s in a similar position, she can see why Disick is making that choice.

“But because I feel the same, I feel like my kids are…yes mine are younger than yours but they’re just my top priority. And I don’t care about dating. I don’t know what will happen in a couple years or next year, I don’t know,” the reality star said.

“But I’m not dating, I don’t care to. My focus is on just my kids. But I think if I wasn’t in my situation, I’d be like, ‘You’re so full of s—.’ But I totally get it and to me, I think it’s the smartest thing.” 

“Well look I mean, my youngest is 10, right? So in 8 years, he graduates high school. In 8 years, I’ll still be able to do my thing,” Disick said.
