Snoop Dogg Shares Hilarious Video of His Grandkids Receiving a Letter from Elf on the Shelf: ‘Too Scared to Move’
Snoop Dogg’s grandkids are going to have to be on their best behavior this holiday season!
On Thursday, Dec. 5 the rapper, 53, shared a video on his Instagram of two of his grandkids receiving a letter from an Elf on the Shelf as they started counting down to Christmas. In the video, a voice off-camera can be heard saying, “There’s a letter!”
Snoop’s grandkids climb on the dining room table to retrieve the letter, which hangs from an elf dangling off a chandelier.
“Hello! So happy to be with you this year,” the letter reads. “Every night, Santa will be getting a report about you, so make sure to be on your best behavior at all times. Let the adventures begin. It’s going to be so much fun! Love, Eflie.”
After the letter is read, Snoop’s grandkids stand frozen in place. “I’m too scared to move!” one of them admits. “Tomorrow he coming?”
“Every day he’s going to be coming!” someone explains about the elf.
“That why the Elf…I saw his feet!” one of the grandkids responds, saying that she saw him walking back and forth that morning.
“Do you think he heard you when you said you didn’t want to do two ponytails this morning?” someone off-camera asks. “No,” Snoop’s granddaughter responds, explaining that “it’s because he already left.”
Snoop is dad to sons Corde, 30, Cordell, 27, and Julian, 26, as well as daughter Cori, 25, whom he shares with his longtime wife and high school sweetheart Shante Broadus. He’s also a granddad to seven kids: Zion, 9, Elleven, 6, Cordoba, 5, Sky, 3, Chateau, 3, Kai and one whose name has not yet been revealed.
In September, Snoop spoke with PEOPLE exclusively and shared that fatherhood — and becoming a granddad — is one of the things in life he’s the most grateful for.
“Papa Snoop, that’s who I am, and I love being that,” he told PEOPLE. “I be dressing up for their birthday parties, like He-Man, Baby Shark or whoever. I be complaining, but I love it.”
“I love being a grandpa. It’s an accomplishment,” he proudly added.
