Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard Says She Craves Sandwiches During Pregnancy: ‘Kind of Cliche for Me’ (Exclusive)

Lindsay Hubbard’s latest pregnancy craving is a food that holds a lot of memories for her.

“In my first trimester, I craved fruit. I could not get enough. Pineapple, apples, bananas, grapes. I didn’t know if it was like my body that was craving vitamin C or whatever but yeah, I just couldn’t get enough,” the Summer House star, 38, told PEOPLE exclusively at the launch of Just Ice Tea’s Lewie’s Lemon Tea on Aug. 25.

But more recently, Hubbard — who announced in July that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend — has had a change of taste. “Now in my second trimester I’m craving — it’s kind of cliche for me — but like sandwiches,” she said with a laugh.

During season 5 of Summer House, a tense conversation between Hubbard and then-boyfriend Stephen “Stravy” Traversie escalated and saw Hubbard famously ask, “How many sandwiches have you made for me?”

Hubbard accused Traversie of working “all day” and not paying enough attention to her.

“What have you done for me?” Hubbard asked during the fight. “How many sandwiches have you made for me? I’m pretty sure you haven’t made me one sandwich!” 

The iconic quote was made into merch by Bravo. It even appears on a neon sign in the kitchen of Hubbard’s four-bedroom, four-bathroom, four-story rental property in Nashville.

The Bravolebrity doesn’t have the same issue with her current boyfriend.

“He really is so incredible, like I don’t lift a finger when he’s around. He’s just great,” she told PEOPLE at the Just Ice Tea event.

“He’s been incredible. I mean he’s so obsessed with our child. He’s like, ‘I just can’t wait to meet her,’ ” she continued.

Hubbard revealed that the two began dating in January – after previously going on a few dates three and a half years ago — during the Summer House season 8 reunion in June. 

Hubbard split from her Summer House costar Carl Radke after they ended their engagement in August 2023. They were planning to say “I do” in Mexico that November.
