The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify Partner on Golden Week Nominees Night

The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify are partnering on Nominees Night, celebrating the nominees for the 2026 Golden Globes.
The evening, an official Golden Week event, will celebrate the Globes’ first best podcast category and take place on Thursday, Jan. 8 at The Lot at Formosa in West Hollywood.
Bringing together the best of film, TV and podcasting, guests will enjoy special performances including a headlining DJ set by Grammy-winning artist, Mark Ronson.
“As awards season kicks into high gear, I’m thrilled to announce The Hollywood Reporter’s dynamic new partnership with Spotify,” said Maer Roshan, editor-in-chief of The Hollywood Reporter. “Awards season is a magical time in in Hollywood — Christmas, Halloween and New Year’s Eve all wrapped into one — and as the industry’s essential voice, THR chronicles every twist and turn of this remarkable journey. We’re excited to join forces with Spotify to honor all these extraordinary nominees — especially in a year that marks the Golden Globes’ first-ever best podcast category.”
Spotify vp and head of podcasts Roman Wasenmüller added, “This has been a huge year for podcasts, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the creators and nominees who made it so special. Partnering with The Hollywood Reporter to bring everyone together ahead of the Golden Globes felt like the perfect way to kick off awards season and recognize how far podcasting has come.”
