Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes Join Forces as Mega Mentors on ‘The Voice’ for Thrilling Playoff Rounds

The Voice is enhancing its current season with even more star power.
Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes are set to join the NBC series as “mega mentors” to assist the remaining competitors as they prepare for the playoff rounds, which commence on April 28. Crow will collaborate with the singers from Kelsea Ballerini’s and Michael Bublé’s teams, while Rimes will guide the artists on John Legend’s and Adam Levine’s squads.
Collectively, Crow and Rimes boast 11 Grammy Awards and have sold over 80 million albums. Both artists have prior experience on The Voice; Crow served as a mentor in season four (which aired in 2013), and Rimes has taken on the role of coach in the British and Australian versions of the show.
In 2023, Crow was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. She has won nine Grammys and released five multiplatinum-selling albums, with her latest album, Evolution, hitting the shelves in 2024.
Rimes, in addition to her two Grammy Awards, has earned two CMA Awards and three Academy of Country Music Awards throughout her career. Her iconic song “How Do I Live” remains one of the biggest singles in music history.
The Voice continues to rank as one of NBC’s most popular programs, with season 27 drawing an average of 5.28 million same-day viewers on Monday nights, according to Nielsen. The fall season saw an average of 6.57 million viewers on Mondays and 5.69 million on Tuesdays after a week of delayed viewing (excluding streaming).
