Timothée Chalamet’s Mom Makes Rare Comment About His Relationship with Kylie Jenner

Timothée Chalamet’s mom Nicole Flender is a big fan of his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

Flender, a real estate agent, offered rare comments about her Oscar-nominated son’s relationship with the Kardashians beauty mogul in an interview with New York Magazine’s Curbed.

“I have to say she’s lovely. She’s very nice to me,” Flender briefly said about Jenner.

Chalamet, 29, and Jenner, 27, have been linked since April 2023, and she joined him at award season events earlier in 2025 as he celebrated wins and nominations for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.

A source told PEOPLE in April 2025 that Jenner — who is mom to Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, with ex Travis Scott — has received the seal of approval from her famous family too. “Her family loves that she’s dating him. They have seen such positive changes in Kylie. She’s the happiest,” said the source.

In the Curbed feature, Flender revealed that Chalamet, a New York City native, bought an $11 million home in Beverly Hills, closer to Jenner. “Did he ask for my advice? No. He said, ‘Guess what? I bought a house,’ ” joked Flender.

Recently, the couple had a tennis date while watching the BNP Paribas Indian Wells Open together in March, and they attended the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival together.

In February, Chalamet won Best Actor at the SAG Awards for A Complete Unknown. After, in an interview with Extra, he revealed what his mom told him after his big win.

“She said, ‘Don’t forget to fold your laundry,’ and I was like, ‘Really? This moment? Really? This moment I just won this award, and I’m 29 years old and you’re chastising me still,’ ” Chalamet said.

He added that his mom was not as surprised as he was to hear his name announced during the ceremony. “She might have won me this,” he said. “I grew up in an actors’ building in New York, so I know she really pushed everyone she knew to hit that vote button.”
