Tracy Morgan Celebrates His Comeback at Knicks Game Following Memorable Vomiting Episode

Tracy Morgan is making his return — all the way back to Madison Square Garden.

The 30 Rock alum, who experienced a bout of illness courtside last month during a game, was greeted with an enthusiastic welcome upon his return to the iconic venue on Tuesday, April 8.

When a shot of the 56-year-old comedian appeared on the Jumbotron at the beginning of the fourth quarter of the New York Knicks-Boston Celtics game, the crowd at MSG erupted in cheers.

In response, Morgan blew kisses and mouthed “thank you” and “go Knicks.”

Sitting next to fellow Knicks superfan Ben Stiller, the SNL alum sported a No. 15 jersey and appeared to be in better health than on March 17, when he had fallen ill during the third quarter of the Knicks-Miami Heat game.

The game was paused for approximately 10 minutes while first responders attended to Morgan and cleaned up the incident that occurred on the court.

With his head buried in a towel, Morgan was taken off the court in a wheelchair. The following day, he provided an update on his condition, stating he was on the path to recovery.

“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” he posted on Instagram on Tuesday, March 18, alongside a photo of himself in a hospital bed giving a thumbs up. “I appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me, and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”

“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs 😅 #goknicks,” he added.

Despite Morgan feeling better on Tuesday, the Knicks lost to the defending champions in overtime, 119-117.
