The 2025 U.S. Open kicks off today, and tennis fans can expect to see even more gameplay and Grand Slam champions during the newly expanded three-week tournament.

The 15-day tennis championship takes place from Aug. 18 to Sept. 7, marking the first time that coverage begins on ABC and the first time that the main draw kicks off on a Sunday. This year’s event also includes the new mixed doubles during Fan Week, featuring eight men and six women across the top 10 in singles and nine Grand Slam champs — all playing for $1 million in championship prize money.

The 2025 U.S. Open Tennis Championships once again take over the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.
