A quick guide to making amla oil at home for hair growth

Step 1: Get some fresh amlas and sun-dry them for a week. You can also use a dehydrator and grind it into a fine powder.
Step 2: Heat the carrier oil gently in a pan, and keep the burner on low. Don’t let it smoke.
Step 3: Add the amla powder to this carrier oil and further stir it well. Simmer for 20 minutes, and then again stir occasionally.
Step 4: Strain the oil using a cheesecloth, and then let the amla oil cool completely. Store it in a dark glass bottle, and keep it in a cool place.
Step 5: You can also add a few drops of rosemary essential oil for extra scalp-soothing goodness.
