Body shimmer is mainly a cosmetic product that makes your skin look radiant and shiny and instantly boosts your confidence. It gives you an instant glow-up and is great for a natural or dramatic shimmer sheen. The subtle body shimmer you opt for, the more glamorous and attractive you look.
It also hides or blurs the imperfections of your body such as minor scars and blemishes. These shimmers can be used on any body part, but women mostly use them on their collarbones and with V-neckline blouses. Let’s take a look at how to create a safe and attractive body shimmer at home.

Steps to make body shimmer oil at home
Step 1: Take some drops of Camelina oil, castor oil, vitamin E oil, and mica powder in a bowl. All these ingredients are available easily in the market.
Step 2: Simply disperse the mica powder and mix it slowly with castor oil. Make sure to thoroughly incorporate the powder, so that the lumps are not formed.
Step 3: Pour in the chameleon oil and whisk again slowly to create the shimmer oil.

Step 4: Next, add the vitamin E oil, or any other antioxidant, and store it in a dropper or spray bottle.

Step 5: You can also add a fragrance essence if you want, and shake it well each time before use.
How to pick the right shimmer oil?
Always opt for a lightweight and fast-absorbing shimmer oil that has a stable and long shelf life. Opt for a shimmer oil that is suitable for all skin types and can be easily spread across the skin.

How to apply?
You need to have full coverage while applying the shimmer oil. You simply need to apply a few drops of the shimmer oil directly on the skin and wait till it gets absorbed into your skin. For an intensive glow, you can simply apply a brush and leave it to absorb rather than simply massaging it, for an even finish.

Bottom line
If you didn’t get camelina oil then you can opt for canola, safflower, fractionated, or grapeseed oil. Depending on the consistency, you can find the preferred oil.
