How to do natural botox with alum (fitkari) and aloe vera
Alum or fitkari is a naturally found salt that is made of potassium alum and is often available in the market in a crystal form. Alum is a colourless white substance that is found majorly in natural deodorants but works like magic on our skin and hair. Men usually use it after shaving to protect them from razor bumps and minor bleeding, but it is also found in many skincare products and is now being used as a natural botox.
Alum tightens your skin and shrinks the skin tissues which reduces the appearance of pores. A natural antiseptic, it also deals with acne issues and controls the extra oil of the skin. By applying alum on the skin, you can get a smoother and more matte finish-like texture as it aims to minimise your skin’s pores.
Alum and aloe vera for skin botox
To get a rejuvenated and glowing batch of skin, you can mix alum with your aloe vera gel and apply it once in a while. Alum is majorly used for skin tightening in this process, whereas aloe vera moisturises the skin, keeps it hydrated, and also keeps your skin away from wrinkles and fine lines. One is an active antioxidant and the other is an astringent which is good for our overall facial skin health.
