We usually toss the banana peel in the dustbin without any second thought, but little do we know that these banana peels contain valuable nutrients and phytonutrients which are extremely beneficial to our skin and hair. Directly rubbing it on your face: One of the simplest ways to use banana peel for skin is to reduce puffy skin, dryness, and wrinkles.
Step 1: Wash your face properly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.
Step 2: Take a banana peel and rub it on your face. Gently start massaging for around 15-20 minutes until it turns brown.
Step 3: Now, wash your face with cold water and a good face wash and see the result.
Make a banana peel mask: Banana peel is also rich in vitamins B6, and B12, and antioxidants which help combat several skin issues.
Step 1: Take half a banana and cut the banana peel into small pieces.
Step 2: Add some milk and make a paste. Now, apply it all over your face for half an hour.
Step 3: You can add honey and curd as well according to your requirements. Let it dry and then rinse it off with clean water.

Make a banana peel scrubber: Small granules of sugar coated with banana peel and honey are one of the best natural exfoliators.
Step 1: Cut a banana peel into small pieces and one tablespoon of turmeric powder with sugar and honey.
Step 2: Mix well and apply this paste on your face for half an hour.
Step 3: Remember to wash it off with lukewarm water and moisturise your skin afterward.
Banana peel for hair: If you’re facing issues with dandruff then apply a banana peel mask on the scalp which would chase away dandruffs adding moisture to the scalp.
Step 1: Take some banana peels, add 2 tablespoons of coconut milk and blend it well.
Step 2: Stir this pastel and then add 1 tablespoon of curd.
Step 3: Now, apply the paste thoroughly on the scalp and hair, and keep the mask for half an hour.
Step 4: Now, rinse it off with a good shampoo and moisturiser.
