Malai vs aloe vera: What is best for your skin?

Aloe vera and malai form the two most accessible items of our households, capable of curing our skin. This would help treat various skin conditions like sunburn, acne, and eczema by the regular or weekly application of these products to our facial skin. Both these products can be naturally churned out and directly applied from the vessel of milk to the aloe vera plant. However, one needs to understand the benefits of these natural products and take a peek at your skin texture and needs, and accordingly include it in your skincare routine. But if it’s a face-off between the two, let’s check if malai or aloe vera-two is best for your skin.
What exactly is malai?
Malai is basically clotted cream, which has a white or yellowish color. It is made by heating pure and non-homogenized milk up to 180 degrees. The cream is then cooled down with a coagulated layer of proteins and fat coming on top of the boiling process and is gently skimmed off from above, thus forming into malai after the milk has cooled down.
Malai for face?
Malai gives glowing skin and also gives smooth and soft skin. Just mix a tablespoon of gram flour with malai and apply it for 20 minutes to get soft golden glow. If you repeat this once or twice a week, then at the end you will get soft and supple skin with glowing end. Malai is also used as a natural cleanser, as it unblocks the pores and immediately removes dust gathered on the skin’s surface, thus keeping acne and other radicals at bay. It, therefore, acts as a natural exfoliator, a remover of tan, and a natural moisturiser for our skin.

Which one is better?
Both aloe vera and malai are churned out and applied in their natural forms, but aloe vera more often than not brims more with skin and hair benefits and soon blends into our skin. Its slimy gel formulation is perfect for instant absorption, and hence the results can be viewed faster and with no major complaints. However, malai is a thing that is extracted naturally, too, but due to its heavy texture, it might create a further layer of fat on the skin, which could attract dust because of the high fat content and may sometimes result in oily and acne-prone skin.
