“Bermuda shorts are closer to the thigh and will be more fitted,” says Christine Chung President of Just Black Denim. “Jorts are a looser fit and at times baggy,” she continues. Ashley Catuzzi, AG’s in-house stylist, also says fabric comes into play in differentiating between the two. She says jorts are always denim, whereas Bermuda shorts are often made from a trouser material.
