Sofía Vergara Dazzles in Poolside Bikini Photos, Urging Fans to Prioritize Skin Protection as Summer Approaches

Sofía Vergara has shared two vibrant poolside selfies on Instagram, signaling her excitement for the upcoming summer. In one of the posts, she wrote, “Ya casi llega el verano!☀️☀️protégete con @toty 👙,” which translates to “Summer is almost here! ☀️☀️protect yourself with @toty 👙.” The actress, now 52, launched her suncare brand Toty in 2023.

The star of Griselda is gearing up for summer and hopes her fans are, too! On Saturday, April 12, she posted a radiant photo on Instagram of herself enjoying the sun while wearing a bikini by the pool.

In the image, Vergara is seen lounging in black bikini bottoms and holding a product from her Toty suncare line.

“Ya casi llega el verano!☀️☀️protégete con @toty 👙,” she captioned the photo, reiterating the message about summer and self-protection.

Additionally, Vergara offered another glimpse of her sunny day on her Instagram Stories, where she shared a selfie paired with a sunshine emoji and the caption: “Protección todo el verano,” meaning “protection all summer.” She added a fun soundtrack with Calvin Harris’ 2014 hit, “Summer.”

Fans and friends showed their support for Vergara’s latest selfies in the comments section, including well-known personalities like Cindy Prado, Cindy Mello, Victoria Bonya, Valentina Ferrer, and Lauren Sánchez.

“Best sunscreen ad I ever did see,” commented Prado.

“🔥Ok hottie,” Sánchez added.

Vergara has a history of sharing swim-themed photos even before summer officially begins. In December, she shared a glimpse of her Thanksgiving weekend with family, posting a series of images, one of which featured her in a black bikini with silver hoop earrings and long wavy hair.

“Second round at the beach today🥳🦃🦀,” she captioned those photos.

Another snapshot showcased her sunbathing in a lounge chair, wearing just a pair of bikini bottoms.

After launching her suncare brand Toty in June 2023, Vergara revealed that the brand’s name was inspired by a childhood nickname and expressed her ambitious vision for it.

“I want to create a brand that has it all,” she stated at the time. “Lips, body makeup that has sun protection, that doesn’t get on your clothes, and that you can put on your chest every day to even out. The dream is big, but we have to start little by little.”

In May, Vergara graced the cover of a beauty issue, where she shared her thoughts on beauty, emphasizing its importance throughout her life.

“I think because I’m Latin, we always grow up thinking about looking good, doing your hair, your makeup. It’s something that makes you feel good,” she noted. “I love beauty products. I love makeup, I love clothes. And I think now that I’m older, it’s great, because you know exactly what you like, what looks good on you, what doesn’t look good on you. I don’t do what is in fashion. I just do what feels good, makes me feel confident and beautiful.”
