Jennifer Garner Is Selling Us on the Retro Sneakers She Has in (at Least) 4 Colors

Jennifer Garner keeps reeling us in, just like a fish on a line. 

Except our bait is the comfortable sneakers that may as well be the only ones in the Catch & Release star’s closet: the Seavees Acorn Trainers. The actress was just seen wearing them in a fourth color this year alone — yes, she apparently owns them in beige, black, burgundy, and green — and now we’re even more hooked than before. 

We were so caught up by Garner’s latest sighting that we almost forgot to mention the other A-listers who are captivated by the brand and the Acorns, more specifically. Laura Dern stepped out in a multi-colored pair on April 9, while Rachel Zegler and Gwyneth Paltrow (a known Seavees stan!) have also laced-up in the chunky shoes that have the “best arch support” next to running shoes, according to one shopper.

The Acorn Trainers have a nice blend of history and charm. The acorn-shaped treads pay homage to California’s highway signs, per the brand, and the bright colors give the sneakers a vintage vibe. Plus, the textured sole should cling easily to grass, gravel, and cement. 

They’re crafted from a mix of materials like suede, mesh, and cotton to give them a warm, inviting look while still being ventilated for spring and summer. Plus, the sole has some thickness to it for a boost that won’t cause feet to ache like heels would. 

Pick from sizes 5 to 11, just know that many shoppers suggest sizing up to the nearest half-size for an optimal fit. Also, prepare to have a hard time choosing which out of the 10 colors to get — that’s probably why Garner and many customers have multiple pairs — since there’s a rainbow of options.
