These $20 Old Navy Flats Are Just as Chic as the $900 Pair I Have Been Coveting Since Last Spring

Unless you were living under a rock last spring and summer, you know very well about the impact that The Row’s Mara flat jelly sandals had on the fashion set. They reawakened our love for our favorite childhood jelly sandals, and the nostalgia sent everyone into a tizzy, causing the designer shoes to sell out fast. I hesitated in securing a pair, and between waffling on the steep price and questioning the practicality (as I do with all big purchases), I hadn’t even settled on getting them before they were gone.

I decided to forgo any alternatives last season, knowing I should wait until the following year to see if they still had my attention. Lo and behold, I am still in my nostalgic feels whenever I see a pair. When I came across the latest $20 alt version from Old Navy, it sealed the deal. How could I turn down an affordable option that satisfies the craving perfectly?

Now, I have to decide on a color. I was leaning toward the clear version, but it is sold out in my size. I’m leaning toward red or light blue at this point and plan to wear them with everything from jeans to linen pants to dresses. Either way, I know not to wait long before snagging a pair—these are bound to sell out by the end of the week.
